Supplier Coordinator Indonesia
In your role as Supplier Coordinator Indonesia you will be managing purchase orders from order placement to shipment.

Key responsibilities
- Continuously source, evaluate and select new suppliers based on their ability to use sustainable materials, use fair trade practises and ability to create exciting new product designs
- Coordinate production samples with suppliers together with your product design colleague
- Discuss new purchase orders with suppliers to ensure mutual understanding, to assess any material issues and to schedule ready date. Keep track of production schedule and ensure timely delivery.
- You carry out quality control during production and before despatch according to specifications and you write a report.
- You partner with suppliers to continously improve their organisational capabilities and their environtmental and social sustainability footprint.
- You will keep the assortment files, purchase orders, and delivery schedules up to date
- You pro-actively research local home decor trends and local sustainable materials.
You will work closely with your colleagues in the Netherlands. Please note that we only use renewable & recycled materials such as reclaimed wood, waste cotton, recycled textiles and plastics. We rely mainly on handicrafts as our main manufacturing method and work with small communities around Java and Bali.
About you
You an multi-disciplinary with a “get the job done” mentality. You strive for quality and you’re communication skills are top-notch.

- You are passionate about the handicraft business, have been working in the handicraft business before and you know your way around this type of manufacturing
- You speak Indonesian and English fluently
- You don’t mind getting your hands dirty on the factory floor to help out and get things done
- You have organizational skills, are a good problem solver and you enjoy taking responsibility
- You are experienced in administrative processes, you are consistent and you have a good eye for detail
- You have an intermediate level of computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or Business Administration or equivalent skills and/or the relevant knowledge
