Candles from Plant-based Wax
To extend the life and ensure the safe use of candles please follow the care and safety instructions below.
The total burn time of the pillar candle is approximately 100 hours and for dinner and long candles ca. 8 hours per candle. This can vary based on the circumstances like the length and type of the wick and location (path of the draft).
How to enjoy your plant-based candle longer
- This candle is handmade from plant-based wax, small imperfections are part of the candle.
- A white haze may appear on the candle; this is a normal process in a natural candle. Remove with soft cloth to make it shine again.
- Trim the wick regularly to 1 cm in length to prevent the candle from burning too quickly.
- Make sure the 1st burn melts the entire surface of the candle. This prevents the candle from 'tunneling'.
- Clean candle holder thouroughly before using a plant-based candle (no paraffin residue).
- If a candle has layers, they may come loose. This does not affect the burning quality.
- Do not place the candle close to a heat source or sunlight to avoid melting or fading of the colour.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep away from things that can catch fire.
Keep away from children and pets.
Use a heat resistance candleholder.
Trim wick to 1cm.
Snuff out the flame. Do not blow it out.
Do not move a burning candle.
Keep candles at least 10cm apart.
Place candle upright.
Do not burn in a draught.
Do not burn near a heat source.
Never use liquid to extinguish.
Keep wax pool clear of matches and debris.
Remove packaging before use.
