When waste wood furniture wasn’t a trend yet, Bima & Rani started to work with waste wood from old houses, boats, trucks and barns and naturally fallen trees because little was being recycled and was left to decompose at landfill sites. The simplicity of producing something worthwhile out of discarded materials appealed to them as well as the fact that leaving waste wood to decompose will releases the same amount of carbon as when it was being burned.

You may find nails, screws, bolts filled cavities along with other imperfections as a token of its history. Their team consist of local Indonesian craftsmen from the surrounding villages who create the furniture by hand in a traditional manner.
