Revitalize with Greens

When we think of decorating green we often think of plants. But how about herbs, fruits and veggies? We seldomly see them as part of our interior decoration but we definitely should! They create great atmosphere, the smell stimulates brain activity and influences us subconsciously to choose for a more conscious lifestyle.

Apply these tips for healthy decoration:

Transform your kitchen into a healthy haven

Decorate your kitchen abundantly with herbs, fruits and veggies. Not all fruits and veggies belong in the fridge and should be stored at room temperature. Big plus: Healthy foods are simply too beautiful to store out of sight. Displaying the greens will also inspire you to eat more healthy. So remove the healthy goods out of your refrigerator and display the paprika, tomato, pumpkin, and aubergine in handwoven baskets or on wooden trays.

Create beautiful fruits and veggie baskets

Play around with colours, shapes and textures of various fruits and veggies to decorate a healthy basket for any space. The presence of healthy foods can influence our mental and physical well-being. Research shows that citrus fruits stimulate productivity and happiness while a cucumber makes us hungry for other veggies. Display them in a beautiful basket and it will be the eye catcher of the room.

Choose more often vegan meals

Cooking healthy meals is an important part of living a conscious lifestyle. Consider this time as a way of self-care rather than a daily task. Not only plants provide you with beneficial properties but eating plant-based will also reduce your environmental impact tremendously. And a big plus; vegan meals are often lust for the eye!
